Rebar weight and size

Calculation of length by weight or weight by length of reinforcement bars.
A rebar is a steel bar used as a stress receiver in reinforced concrete and masonry structures to strengthen and assist concrete under tension. Concrete is strong in compression but has poor tensile strength. Reinforcement significantly increases the tensile strength of the structure. The surface of rebar has a row of ribs to create better contact with the concrete and reduce the risk of slipping.
